We automate the entire invoicing workflow—capturing incoming invoices from inboxes, Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, e‑invoicing networks like PEPPOL, and supplier portals; enabling approval & payment with a single click; matching payments; and syncing everything with accounting software like Exact Online.

Since March 2025, we've onboarded over 350 clients, processed 35,000+ invoices, and raised €1.3M from Pitchdrive, StarApps, and VLAIO to lead the Belgian e‑invoicing wave due in 2026.

🎯 What You'll Own

• Define & execute technology strategy – guide our roadmap, architecture, and AI-led innovation to scale end-to-end invoice automation.

  
  

• Lead engineering teams – mentor developers (full-stack, AI/data) and foster growth, ownership, and excellence.

  
  

• Drive AI & data engineering – evolve our agentic AI for document ingestion, smart payment planning, VAT/ledger coding, and reconciliation.

  
  

• Scale systems – ensure reliability and performance at scale; extend integrations (PEPPOL, banks, messenger platforms).

  
  

• Operational excellence – implement CI/CD, observability, agile practices and measure impact and velocity.

  
  

• Stakeholder collaboration – align engineering with business goals; coordinate with founders and accountancy partners like Baker Tilly.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Seasoned leader – 4+ years in engineering roles including data.

  
  

• Tech stack fluency – TypeScript/Node.js, React, Remix.run, AWS or similar.

  
  

• AI-driven mindset – experience building ML/AI systems for document processing or automation.

  
  

• Scalable systems & integrations – cloud infrastructures, messaging APIs, financial compliance (PEPPOL, banking, invoicing).
